A:Individuals who have tested at any lab can upload their DNA markers for free and search for free. Markers accepted are Autosomal DNA STR, Y-DNA STR, and mtDNA. Participants can search for immediate family as well as distant relatives.

A: Genealogists looking to expand their family tree or confirm ancestry research, adopted children seeking biological family members, birth parents who gave their child up for adoption and seeking to reunite with their child, children who do not know their biological father and wishing to reunite, adoptive families seeking full and half siblings or other biological family members for their adopted child. Anytime the paper trail ends, DNA can potentially provide new leads.

A: It doesn't matter where you are tested, you can still upload your results to DNA Reunion.

A: No conversion is required for Autosomal STRs. Conversions may be required for Y-DNA STRs depending on which laboratory performed your test. DNA Reunion will automatically convert your data for you after you upload your results.

A: You can upload 3 types of DNA markers: Autosomal DNA STR, Y-DNA STR and mtDNA.

A: Yes, DNA Reunion is 100% free.
